Device Programs 

A major barrier to online services is a lack of access to personal devices. Many organizations already have the means to loan devices to those in need and your organization can utilize these services. See below for available services

*Organizations with a rainbow flag have specific queer-inclusive policies and programs. If an organization listed has no flag, they're still a helpful resource, but ODLAN is in the process of reaching out to learn more about their relationship to 2S-LGBTQ+ communities.

The Electronic Recycling Association donates devices to non-profit organizations, charities, educational institutions and care facilities.

Senior Pride Online

Senior Pride Online are a virtual care service that maximizes 2S-LGBTQ+ older adults' access to the internet. They offer tablet rentals for 2-4 week periods for 2S-LGBTQ+ older adults living in Ottawa. Their rentals include in-person tablet set ups for individuals who need assistance.

New Horizons for 2S-LGBTQ+ Older Adults

The New Horizons for 2S-LGBTQ+ Older Adults program operates out of the Aids Committee of North Bay. The program coordinator, Ashley Di Benedetto launched a technology lending program to help 2S-LGBTQ+ older adults stay connected.

Computers with Pride

Computers with Pride are a Toronto computer repair service and sales, that is geared towards 2S-LGBTQ+ communities. They offer drop off, on-site, and remote support. They service and sell both Macs and PCs.
